Köln! (part two)
After touring the Dom I immediately rented a bicycle and toured the city. I stopped to take photos and I even took photos while riding the bicycle. Amazing.
After making my way through the old town section of the city I stumbled up on MediaPark, which is…..”the home of music TV stations, radio stations Eins Live (the most listened-to radio program for young people in Europe) and Radio Köln, and an entire building is dedicated to the music industry where labels like EMI, Sony Music or BMG Ariola reside.” There is a semi-medium sized pond in front of various restaurants, cafe’s, businesses and town homes which line the western bank. Around the backside of all the media madness are some steep hills with interval plateaus. On one is a small playground with a gigantic slide.
And yes, I went down it.
And after my trip up I made way back down and took yet another photo, but this time pointing it at my mug.
